Where It All Began

Bayflags — Established 2019

Before there was Stratus Gardens, there was Bayflags.

When the park first opened in 2019, it operated under the name Bayflags, a Minecraft theme park built around creativity, community builds, and expansive attractions. It was a place defined by large-scale ideas, collaborative projects, and a growing collection of ambitious experiences that showcased what could be achieved within Minecraft Bedrock.

Over time, Bayflags developed its early identity, attractions, and foundations that would later shape everything the destination would become.

Stratus Gardens — Rebranded 2021

In 2021, under the direction of Tahkane Resort, Bayflags was rebranded as Stratus Gardens.

This rebrand marked a new chapter for the park, refining its identity and shifting its focus toward immersion, exploration, and creativity with a strong emphasis on quality over quantity. While Bayflags was known for its scale and community-driven expansion, Stratus Gardens introduced a more intentional approach where every area, attraction, and environment was designed to feel purposeful and deeply immersive.

Stratus Gardens became the official name of the original park experience within the growing resort, preserving its history while redefining its creative direction.

Today, Stratus Gardens remains Stratus Gardens. Its history, legacy, and identity continue to be an important part of the destination and are celebrated as its own ongoing story.

Tahkane Resort — Established 2021

In 2021, Tahkane Resort was established with a vision to expand beyond a single theme park and transform the experience into a full resort destination.

Tahkane brought Stratus Gardens into a larger world creating a place where theme parks, attractions, dining, shopping, entertainment, and immersive experiences could exist together. Rather than replacing what came before it, Tahkane was created to build upon it and elevate it.

This distinction is also reflected in our history. Stratus Gardens traces its origins to 2019, while Tahkane Resort was established in 2021. Both milestones represent important chapters in the story of our destination.

Resort Expansion

As Tahkane Resort continued to grow, it expanded far beyond its original vision of a single theme park destination. The resort evolved into a multi-experience world, introducing new districts, accommodations, and attractions that further define its identity today.

One of the most significant additions is the Tahkane Promenade, a vibrant shopping district expansion featuring over a dozen unique shops and eateries. Designed as a central hub of activity, the Promenade brings together dining, retail, and atmosphere in a walkable, immersive environment that enhances the resort experience.

Alongside this expansion, Tahkane Resort introduced a brand new luxury accommodation: The Garden Tower Hotel. Rising as a landmark within the resort skyline, the hotel offers guests a refined and immersive stay that connects directly to the surrounding experiences of the resort.

Most recently, Tahkane Resort revealed its second theme park: Explorers Cove. This new addition expands the resort's entertainment offerings even further, introducing a brand new world of adventure, discovery, and themed experiences that complement Stratus Gardens while standing as its own distinct destination within the resort.

Together, these expansions mark a defining era in Tahkane's growth, transforming it from a single park experience into a fully realized resort destination.

Our goal isn't simply to build inside Minecraft.
