About Stratus Gardens

Where It All Began

Established in 2019, Stratus Gardens is the original theme park at the heart of the Tahkane Resort story. While the park is known today as Stratus Gardens, its journey began under a different name: Bayflags.

Originally created as a Minecraft theme park focused on creativity, community builds, and expansive attractions, Bayflags established the foundation for what would eventually become Stratus Gardens. Its early years were defined by ambitious ideas, small-scale projects, and a growing collection of community experiences that demonstrated what could be created within Minecraft Bedrock.

In 2021, Bayflags was rebranded as Stratus Gardens, beginning a new chapter for the park. The new identity brought a greater emphasis on exploration, imagination, immersive storytelling, and intentional design, while building upon the foundations established during its years as Bayflags.

The name Stratus Gardens itself reflects the park's core identity and philosophy. Stratus is derived from the idea of the celestial sky, representing elevation, wonder, and the vastness above. Gardens represents nature, growth, and the living world below. Together, the name symbolizes a connection between the heavens and the earth; an intentional reflection of the park's vision.

This identity now defines Stratus Gardens: a place focused on the beautiful connection between earth and sky, where natural landscapes and elevated experiences exist in harmony.

The Original Park

Today, Stratus Gardens remains a destination of its own, offering guests a collection of immersive lands, attractions, dining, entertainment, and experiences created exclusively for the park.

Every land and attraction is designed with its own atmosphere and identity, giving guests a reason to explore beyond the next ride. From heart-pounding thrills and family-friendly adventures to scenic environments and unexpected discoveries, Stratus Gardens is designed to offer something for every kind of adventurer.

While Stratus Gardens is now part of Tahkane Resort, it has never lost what makes it unique. Stratus Gardens remains Stratus Gardens, with its own history, experiences, and identity continuing to evolve alongside the resort.

Its anniversary is celebrated from its original establishment in 2019, recognizing the beginning of the park's journey rather than the later rebranding.

Part of Something Bigger

In 2021, Tahkane Resort was established, bringing Stratus Gardens into a larger resort destination and opening the door to a new era of growth.

Today, Stratus Gardens serves as one of the cornerstone experiences of Tahkane Resort, complementing new parks, attractions, dining, shopping, hotels, and entertainment throughout the destination.

While the resort continues to expand, Stratus Gardens remains an important part of where it all began.
